The Grounds at Valley River Inn
While you are a guest at Valley River Inn, please take time to tour our beautiful setting. Valley River Inn sits on 7 mature, landscaped acres along the banks of the Willamette River in the heart of Eugene.
A must is a tour of our bumble and mason bee habitat—several uniquely designed homes scattered around our property that provide a sanctuary for these non aggressive, pollinating bees. Our little black and yellow friends help keep our flowers and trees beautiful as well as ensuring that the veggies and spices in Chef's Garden are productive and delicious! Loss of habitat and pesticide use has made available housing limited for these little guys. Bees are a necessary and important link in the circle of life; and since we already provide a safe and peaceful sanctuary for our guests, we thought we would extend that same welcome to our pollinating pals!
