Eugene, Oregon, July 11th, 2013 — On June  11th, 2013 George Rogers the General Manager of Valley River Inn was named the President of the Travel Lane County Board. Travel Lane County is a private nonprofit association funded by member support and visitor room tax. The Goal of the organization if to increase travel and overnight stays to this area. As partners with business, civic, government and community groups they aim to provide any traveler to this area with renowned hospitality and a quality visitor experience.

“Being able to serve a two year term as Travel Lane County’s president is an honor” Said George Rogers, “We believe that the goals of Travel Lane County and Valley River Inn come together in their mission to provide each traveler coming to this area with authentic and genuinely warm Pacific Northwest Hospitality, and I believe that during my time on the board I will be able to help promote tourism and make ongoing contributions to the local economy”
