Looking Back at 2012
2012 was a big year for us at the Valley River Inn, with so many new exciting changes. Let’s take a look back, before we take the next step forward into 2013.
Renovation on the hotel broke ground on March 21st with plans to make changes to the meeting spaces, guestrooms, and lobby. Our Eugene hotel, built in 1973, provides us with a rich history, and the new remodel helps bring us into the present. During the renovation, it was important to us at the Valley River Inn to provide our guests with the best experience possible for any type of travel, business or leisure.
With that in mind we started in on the meeting rooms. Our end goal was to create spaces that capture the natural lighting and great scenic views that our location on the river provides. Whether our guests need venues for a wedding or a business meeting, our 15,000 sq. ft. of renovated space has all that they could need.
One part of the renovation that our guests have been most excited to see is the changes to the guest rooms. All the rooms where taken virtually to the studs during the renovation. With all new furniture, carpets, paint, TV’s, and bathrooms, the rooms are un-recognizable from their previous state.
The renovation to the lobby was also a large change. All the new furniture, carpeting, and updates to the fire place; do a perfect job of encompassing our new look while maintaining the feel of our long standing logging background. Many guests feel that the changes to the lobby make it a place that they want to spend time catching up with family or spend time visiting with business associates.
With all of the new changes to our riverfront hotel in Eugene, we know that we have a great blend of everything a guest coming to our beautiful destination could ask for including scenic views, large meeting spaces, a comfortable lobby, great guestrooms, and amazing location right on the river in the heart of the city.
We hope that while making your travel decisions for 2013 you consider making Valley River Inn, your soul destination.
