Golfing Destinations in Eugene Oregon

There is nothing like the peace and serenity that come with playing a round of golf. But with so many great golf spots it’s often hard to decide where to make your next golf vacation. Here are a few reasons to make Eugene, Oregon your next golf destination.

Eugene, Oregon has some of the greenest views around and has been said to be the “emerald city” due to its precipitation and climate which leads to amazing greens and enjoyable leisurely courses with plenty of shade and sun.

Eugene not only has lush green courses but also a variety of course types. River Ridge Complex for example has 3 courses one full length 18 whole course and 2 short 9 hole courses with a par levels set for any type of golfing needs. There’s also Oakway golf course located less than two miles from the hotel and Laurelwood Golf Course located near campus.

The 18-hole RiverRidge Course at RiverRidge Golf Complex is a public golf course that opened in 1989. Designed by Rick Jeffries, RiverRidge Course at RiverRidge Golf Complex measures 6256 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 116 and a 68

ShortRidge Nine at RiverRidge Golf Complex:
3800 N Delta Hwy Eugene, Oregon 97408
The 9-hole ShortRidge Nine at RiverRidge Golf Complex is a public golf course that opened in 2003. Designed by Rick Jeffries, ShortRidge Nine at RiverRidge Golf Complex measures 839 yards from the longest tees. The course features 2 sets of tees for different skill levels. Greens and fairways are blue.

Oakway Golf Course:
2000 Cal Young Rd Eugene, Oregon 97401
The 18-hole Oakway Golf Course opened in 1947 and is a public golf course. Oakway Golf Course measures 3576 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 91 and a 58.6 USGA rating. The course features 2 sets of tees for different skill levels.

Laurelwood Golf Course:
2700 Columbia St Eugene, Oregon 97403
The 9-hole Laurelwood Golf Course in Eugene, OR is a public golf course that opened in 1929. Designed by Clarence Sutton, Laurelwood Golf Course measures 2902 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 135 and a 35.

Fiddler's Green Golf Course:

The 18-hole Fiddler's Green Golf opened in 1964. Designed by John Zoller, Fiddler's Green Golf Course measures 2378 yards from the longest tees.
